Delhi Bodo Association (DBA) celebrates the Rongjali Bwisagu the great festival of Bodos ever year with great enthusiasm. Rongjali Bwisagu is the new year of Bodos.
Rongjali Bwisagu 2008
DBA celebrated the Rongjali Bwisagu 2008 at Maharastra Rangayan, Pahargang, New Delhi on 19 April 2008. A general meeting was held to elect the new Executive body and executive members. A colourfull cultural program was organised. Large number of members participated in the Cultural program. Three best performers in Cultural Show were given prizes. The program was followed by delicious traditional dishes.
Rongjali Bwisagu 2009
DBA celebrated the Rongjali Bwisagu 2009 at MP's Club, South Avenue, New Delhi on 19 April 2009. A colorful cultural program was organised. Large number of members participated in the Cultural program. The program was followed by delicious traditional dishes.
Domashi Celebration 2008:
Delhi Bodo Association (DBA) celebrated Domashi Festival on 20th January 2008 at New Delhi. About 400 Bodo people residing at Delhi and its adjoining areas gathered at Sector 12, DDA Park, Dwarka, New Delhi to celebrate the Festival. The festival was celebrated with ''Laokhar Wngkham Janai" (Picnic) with delicious Bodo Traditional Dishes. Besides, various competitions like paintings, various sports like race for all groups of people, boys & girls, young men & women and fast walking for aged people, cultural program were held. A spot lucky draw was also held. Later, in the evening, Prize Distribution ceremony was held. The winners were presented the prizes by the seniors like Sh. S.N Brahmo Chaudhary, Dr. R.K. Basumatary and Sh. Bakul Basumatary. Delhi Bodo Association is celebrating Domashi every year since its inception which is one of the objectives of the Association to protect and preserve the Bodo Culture, Tradition and Custom amongst the Bodo community residing at Delhi and its adjoining areas.
Mr. M. K. Brahma, President of the Association conveyed his pleasure and thanked all the members of the Association for making of the Domashi Celebration a grand success.

About 300 Bodo people residing at Delhi and its adjoining areas gathered at District Park, RK Puram, New Delhi to celebrate the Festival. The festival was celebrated with ''Laokhar Wngkham Janai" (Picnic) with delicious Bodo Traditional Dishes. DBA observes the 16 November as "Boro Thunlai San" every year. The Bodo Sahitya Sabha was formed on 16th of November in 1952 at Basugaon, Kokrajhar. Since then 16th November is being celebrated as the "Bodo Literary Day" or "Birth day of Bodo Literature" every year.
